Clearwater Flooring Company Recommends Tile Floors for Durability and Aesthetics
When upgrading a home’s interior, the easiest and least expensive method is installing tile flooring.
“We find that one of the quickest and visually appealing upgrades inside a home is to install new tile flooring. It is a look that can lift years off the appearance of any room and a look that is easy to maintain without a lot of extra work,” said Dean Dupre, who runs Champion Tile, a Clearwater Flooring, Tampa Flooring, and tile installation company.
These days, tiles come in a rainbow selection of shapes, forms and colors. This means homeowners can create any look the like for their home, no holds barred. The only limitation to their creativity would be their imagination and in some cases, depending on what they want to spend, how much money they have on hand. The other huge benefit of tile flooring is that is provides a new look for home owners on a budget, but does not look cheap.
The choices are literally endless and in accordance, the pricing may range from really great to really wow, but by and large, just about everyone can find what they need. For those wanting to seriously upgrade their interiors with an eye to selling, they might want to check granite or limestone tiles, as well as marble, as they are very durable and visually appealing.
One of the main selling points for tile floors is that they are super easy to keep clean, even with just a damp mop run over them now and then. If you have the kiddy patrol or pet parade happening during the day, this many mean a few more swipes daily, but it does not take long.
“The beauty of the stone tiles is that they can actually be wiped with just about any alcohol based sanitizers if you are worried about germ protection. Additionally, water will not hurt this stone, so if your kids slop water while doing the dishes, it will not harm the stone slab,” Dupre said.
There is a big move on to change wood floors to marble or stone tiles for the simple reason that not only are they easier to keep than wood, and less expense, they are also quieter. “Anyone with a herd of cats that play at 3 a.m. swears they are hearing elephants in the house when they have wood flooring. Stone tiles are so much more elegant and do a great job of cushioning the noise,” Dupre said, with a grin.
